SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS

For most customers, Radix Pro fits true to US shoe size.

If unsure, or if between sizes, we recommend ordering the next size up for more comfort. If the shoe ends up being just slightly too loose, the optional insole can be inserted into the shoe, which will also provide more underfoot cushioning.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Hand Wash: Soak in a mixture of cold water and liquid laundry detergent. Use a soft bristle toothbrush to scrub the upper, then the sole. Once clean, rinse and air dry.

Do not tumble dry.

Radix Pro: Limit Breaker V2

Ultimate comfort

DUAL-LAYER UPPER
The soft Lycra liner runs from heel to toe, offering enhanced comfort and padding throughout the shoe. The outer mesh layer offers durability and structure, while retaining the shoe's breathable and lightweight qualities.

FEATHER LIGHT
Despite the added stability and grip from our improved sole, and the extensive padding throughout the shoe, Radix Pro maintains an ultra-light feel thanks to its use of lightweight materials such as TPU and mesh.

Radix Pro: Limit Breaker V2

MORE STABLE THAN EVER

The sole has extended flanges and raised lateral walls at the outside edge of the shoe which creates a wider sole base.

This improves stability and eliminates lateral spillage during squats, sumo deadlifts, and dynamic exercises.

Radix Pro: Limit Breaker V2
Ultra-Thin Performance

Novus™ 3.0 Griptech

The high performance Radix Pro outsole is 2mm thin, with a 1.3mm tread depth. The total stack height of only 3.3mm make Radix and Radix Pro the thinnest and most sensory barefoot shoes on the market.

Our newest specially formulated high-friction rubber compound aggressively bites into the ground surface, offering 15% greater grip and 10% more durability compared to our previous generation. The sole, while still flexible, offers greater rigidity and lateral support compared to the original Radix.

Radix Pro: Limit Breaker V2

Still "Barefoot."

Despite the pro features, Radix Pro maintains the flexibility, comfort, and health benefits that a true "barefoot shoe" offers.

Zero drop. Wide toe box. No arch support. Lightweight & Non-Restrictive.

Radix Pro - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Radix Pro is our premium, feature‑enhanced barefoot‑style training shoe. It includes Novus 3.0™ Griptech (more flexible and grippier than Novus 2.0), a dual‑layer breathable upper, and an even more breathable and lightweight construction. Radix is the versatile, more affordable entry‑point; Radix Pro is the high‑performance upgrade.

Absolutely. Radix Pro is designed as a true one‑shoe solution for powerlifters who also incorporate conditioning, agility work, or CrossFit‑style training. The ultra‑thin (3.3mm) sole provides ground feel for deadlifts, while the wide toe box and secure fit handle heavy squats.

Yes. Radix Pro has a generously wide toe box that allows full toe splay, making it ideal for lifters with wide feet or those transitioning from conventional shoes to barefoot‑style footwear. The engineered knit upper adapts to your foot shape over time.

No. Radix Pro features a completely flat, neutral insole with zero arch support—this encourages natural foot musculature engagement and proper force transfer. If you require arch support, you can insert your own orthotic, though it may slightly reduce ground feel.

Novus 3.0™ is slightly more rigid (offering more support) and 15% grippier than Novus 2.0. It provides exceptional traction on wood, rubber, and turf while maintaining the barefoot “feel” of the ground. It’s also more durable—resisting abrasion from rope climbs, sled drags, turf and concrete.

Yes. Radix Pro’s minimalist design and street‑ready aesthetics make it suitable for casual wear, walking, and light hiking. However, the thin sole offers little cushion for prolonged pavement pounding—it’s optimized for gym performance first.

The engineered knit upper will minimally conform to your foot shape after 5‑10 wears, but it does not stretch significantly in length or width. Choose your true size based on our sizing guide; the material becomes more comfortable without losing lockdown.

Avoid long‑distance running (lack of cushion), extreme cold weather (thin material provides little insulation), and heavy mud/rock terrain (the thin sole isn’t protective against sharp objects). For those activities, choose purpose‑built footwear.

Remove the insoles, hand‑wash in cold water with mild detergent, gently scrub soiled areas with a soft brush, rinse thoroughly, and air‑dry away from direct sunlight. **Do not machine wash or dry**—the knit may lose its shape.

Yes. Radix Pro meets all federation footwear requirements for powerlifting, strongman, and weightlifting where flat‑soled shoes are allowed. They are approved for use in IPF, USAPL, USPA, PA, and all other federations.

Don't think about it, buy them!!

I gotta start by saying I didn’t know how much I needed these lifting shoes until now. These are my first true barefoot shoes. They have an advanced floor grip that has helped me make real progress on my deadlifts, bench press, Bulgarian split squats, and other exercises where comfort, floor grip, and that true barefoot feel play a major role. Way better than my Metcon 10s — I’d recommend them 10/10.

Shoe feels great

Shoe feels great. Comfy and built well. Only issue I had was I wore a low rise sock and the back dug in a little. I forgot my work shoes and had to wear these for a 9hr shift. That may have led to my issue. Would def buy another pair in a diff color.

Love these shoes.

I have struggled to find lifting shoes that work for me. I have had wide feet but lifting shoes are narrow. As a result I have been dealing with blisters and calluses. The Notorious Lift Radix Pro solved all that. I slipped them on and immediately thought, "This is the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn." I feel locked into the ground when wearing them but still comfortable. I ended up buying a second pair for daily wear!

Size is inaccurate, sneakers are not true to size

Size is inaccurate, sneakers are not true to size yet although the customer is not at fault for choosing their correct size, they still want customer to either pay more for package+ or pay for shipping to exchange for a bigger size.

Disappointed in customer service

Dear Notorious Lift,

My name is Derek and I wanted to write a review because I was actually quite disappointed in my recent purchase. I was turned to Notorious Lift from my wife who has about 10 pair of your shoes, my daughter who has about 12 pair, and my son who has 3. Between my family we have purchased about 25 pairs of shoes. I have been focused and lifting and training seriously for power lifting for about a year. I have been training in Innov8 shoes and been happy with their quality. I am relatively new to your company but my family is not. My wife, son, and daughter all use Notorious and they love your product so I decided to try out your sumo gen3 about 2 year ago. I have been deadlifting in those and have been satisfied so I decided to try the year of the horse. I purchased a size 42 and wore them 1 time to the GYM. They fit ok but were a little snug and since I purchased the exchange policy I thought it would be no problem to exchange them for a 43 (especially because I have only wore them one time in the gym to work out). Then I had to pay for the cost to send back, which should have been included with the extra protection I purchased with the shoes. When you received them I was told that I would only be receiving about 50% credit because the were no longer “sellable”. I sent them back in the original box with packing. The soles were slightly dirty from wearing around the gym but “unsellable”. I just felt like I was not taken care of the way I should have been.

PERFECT MIX OF SLIPPER AND SHOE

The Notorious Lift Radix Pro is a really good shoe, especially if you want something that feels like the perfect mix between a slipper and a training shoe. It has a very comfortable, snug fit that almost feels like you’re wearing a slipper, but it still gives you the support and stability you need from a good shoe. It feels lightweight, secure, and easy to wear, while still performing well during lifts. Overall, it’s a great option for anyone looking for comfort without giving up the structure of a solid training shoe.

Best barefoot lifting shoe I’ve tried.

I have tried many different barefoot or barefoot style shoes for lifting. These are the best I’ve ever tried. They fit great, provide amazing connection with the ground and I love the style.

Good but Not Great

I want firmness and stability, as well as thinness with zero drop. The Radix Pro is more stable than most, but it could be better. I like the reinforcements along the inner and outer edges of the soles. I also like the wide mid-foot. These help stability but I think more stability could be achieved with still more reinforcement. I also think a stiffer mid-sole would help. I think this could be done without making the sole much thicker (if any), and weight is not an issue for me. The sole gives very good traction. I like the fit and quality of the shoe and predict it will hold up well.

J

Fit snug, great grip and are super lightweight and low to the ground.
